Halloween, also called All Hallows' Eve, is one of the most awaited festivals of the year and is celebrated with a lot of pomp and show.  There are innumerable exciting Halloween adventures that can light up the celebrations. Here are some things that you can do to make your Halloween a fun-filled and memorable one.

1.       Trick or treating is the most traditional and customary form of adventure that children are thrilled to undertake. You can dress up as your favorite spooky character and go around showing your tricks and also gathering your treats.

2.       If you have grown out of tricking or treating you can still make your Halloween exciting and adventurous by making your very own haunted house. Plan a path and set up scary props, cobwebs, Jack-o-lanterns and masks that can to be lighted up for more emphasis. Have a spooky music playing in the background. Dim the lights to create an eerie atmosphere.  You can create those tombstones and coffin boxes, etc., all by yourself with cardboard boxes and foam and give them a personalized look. Other than that you can create a scary maze with interesting turnings and ends for all your guests.

3.       Halloween is incomplete without the famous pumpkin carving. You can show off your carving skills to your family and friends by putting up a display of your creatively carved crazy pumpkins.

4.       Plan some harmless but spooky pranks to play on your friends and cousins to scare them.

5.       The more the merrier. So gather up all your friends in a dark room, light up a candle and share scary stories and adventures.

6.       Rent or borrow some horror movies and watch them with your family or friends. You can watch them alone to enjoy the thrill of Halloween.

7.       Halloween festivals are hosted in many towns nowadays and it is a great way to have an outing with your family. There is an array of arts and crafts for sale, a number of interesting contests, activities, games to participate and wonderful prizes that are given away. It’s a wonderful way to spend memorable time with your family.

8.       Though carving a pumpkin is essential during Halloween, it would be interesting to put up your very own hand made scarecrow that can scare your passersby.

9.       Cooking is great way to experiment and create something new.  You can have a real adventure making a colorful and delicious Halloween feast which can include Red Bloody Punch (made from cherry), Cookie Monsters, Wiggly Jell-o (Think of Bloody Brain), Wormy Spaghetti or grapes as make shift eye balls. You can have a competition among your friends to make an innovative and tasty Halloween dish.

10.   Have an exciting slumber party in your house or even better, camp out in the open in your spooky garden decorated with spider webs, scarecrows and Jack o lanterns. It will surely be an exciting Halloween adventure you will never forget.
